Start at the entrance and the work position
A narrow garden entrance, wall-side trench or indoor slab can decide the machine before digging depth does. Record the narrowest access, turning space, trench depth and material-handling position. A canopy/cab and arm choice belongs in the transport and working specification.
Compact-machine examples
| Configuration | Working weight | Power | Working detail |
|---|---|---|---|
| JCB 19C-1 · US | 4,067 lb | 23.1 hp | 8 ft 5 in maximum dig depth |
| JCB 25Z-1 · US | 5,622 lb | 25 hp | 2.82 m maximum dig depth · zero tail |
| JCB 35Z-1 · US | 7,840 lb | 24.7 hp | 10 ft 5 in maximum dig depth · zero tail |
| Kubota U27-4 · US canopy | 2,580 kg | 15.6 kW gross | 1,500 mm width · 2,870 mm dig depth |
| Komatsu PC35MR-5 E1 | 3,720–3,870 kg | 18.2 kW | 50 L/min maximum auxiliary flow |
An attachment shortlist has three columns
Carrier size establishes the first shortlist. The hydraulic circuit then supplies the flow and pressure window, while the mounting has pin diameter, pin centres and inside ear width. A compact hammer, auger and tilt bucket use different working circuits: one-way hammer operation, reversing drill operation or two-way cylinder control.
Choose a package for the task
| Task | Working assembly | Add to the order |
|---|---|---|
| Concrete breaking | Compact hydraulic hammer | Bracket, pin set, hoses, working tools and service kit |
| Fence and planting holes | Auger drive with soil/rock drill | Mount, output connection, drill diameter, teeth and extension |
| Ditching or landscaping | Grading/tilt bucket | Mounting, hydraulic couplers and cutting-edge choice |
| Wood or stone handling | Grapple or bucket/thumb combination | Hydraulic circuits, gripping geometry and pin/bush set |
A replacement-parts request uses the working position
Give a cylinder’s boom, arm, bucket or blade location. Record track width, pitch and links; record both pin diameters and the mounting gap for buckets. Include the engine model with the machine serial for filters and service items.
Send the job as a purchase brief
Tell us the access width, trench or hole dimensions, material, machine model/configuration, auxiliary hydraulics and quantity. Add the required bucket, hammer or drill components and the delivery destination. For a machine-sourcing project, also specify new/used, target configuration and the planned working period.
