Plate force is different from attachment weight
HC350 lists 23 kN centrifugal force and 35 Hz vibration frequency. The 330 kg service weight describes the mounted attachment configuration. The plate transmits repeated vibration to the placed material; force, frequency and plate footprint should be compared separately from carrier weight.
A trench-backfill sequence sets the work requirement
Place and spread the specified lift of material, then compact along the trench before adding the next lift. The trench width and reach determine plate access. Required density, test method and material/moisture specification belong to the project work plan; the attachment purchase selects the plate and hydraulic installation for that sequence.
Keep vibration and rotation circuits separate
The HC350 vibration circuit uses 57 L/min at 160 bar. The R version adds 15–25 L/min rotation with a 320 bar maximum rotation-pressure entry. Mounting plate, pins, feed/return/drain connections and hose routes belong on the installation list. Base plate, isolators, bearings and hydraulic service components are separate repeat-order items.
Buying questions
Does 23 kN mean the compactor weighs 23 tonnes?
It is centrifugal force. The HC 350 service weight is 330 kg and the body weight 296 kg.
What does the R version add?
HC350R adds rotation, mass and a separate rotation circuit. Its service weight is 450 kg, with 15–25 L/min for rotation.
Does buying a compactor prove a specified soil density?
The project’s material, lift and density test define the compaction result. The purchase configuration selects the plate, frequency, force and carrier installation for that work.
