Start with the 3CX engine and the repair position
A 3CX service order starts with the machine PIN and engine plate. Perkins and JCB 444 engines have different filter arrangements. The front loader, rear backhoe and stabilisers also have separate cylinders and linkage parts. Put the engine identity beside each maintenance item, and the cylinder or working-end position beside each repair item.
For a workshop or dealer purchase, organise the order as four lists: engine service, hydraulic repair, front-loader parts and rear-backhoe parts. Each list keeps the installed number and the quantity per machine. This makes a mixed order easier to compare than a quotation headed simply “3CX parts”.
Perkins and JCB 444 service-filter choices
The MANN-FILTER service entries below show why the engine belongs on the order. The oil-filter and fuel-filter numbers change between the Perkins 4.236 and JCB 444 configurations. The AEC entry has another fuel-filter identity. Choose the maintenance row from the installed engine and full machine configuration.
| Machine configuration | Engine | Engine-oil filter | Fuel filter |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3CX | Perkins 4.236 | W940/24 | P917x |
| 3CX, 2005-on engine entry | JCB 444 | W950/47 | WK9036 |
| 3CXAEC, 2014-on entry | JCB 444TAHI-G8B1 | W950/47 | WK8170 |
A five-position Dieselmax maintenance package
One Dieselmax service-package configuration contains the two air-filter elements, a hydraulic filter, the engine-oil filter and a fuel-filter position. The numbers below describe its supplied positions and quantities. The paired numbers in a row stay with that service position rather than becoming extra items on the order.
A fleet purchase can multiply this list by the number of matching machines, then add individual air elements or fuel filters for the next service. Keep the supplied filter brand and individual part identities on the quotation. A maintenance kit and five unrelated filter offers are compared by their actual contents and quantities.
| Service position | Package part-number entry | Quantity |
|---|---|---|
| Primary air element | 32/925682 | 1 |
| Secondary air element | 32/925683 | 1 |
| Hydraulic-filter position | 32/913500 (32/925346) | 1 |
| Engine-oil filter | 320/04133 | 1 |
| Fuel-filter position | 320/07057 (320/07155) | 1 |
991/00152 is a 60 / 100 mm cylinder-seal purchase
The 991/00152 repair kit is for a 60 mm rod and 100 mm cylinder bore. Its sealing groups include oil seals, dust wipers and sealing rings. Record the installed cylinder number and its position on the machine beside these dimensions.
A seal-kit repair retains the selected cylinder assembly. A rod, barrel, piston or complete-cylinder purchase is a different quotation line. Add the worn-component measurements and cylinder-end views when the repair also includes mechanical parts.
| Field | Purchase detail |
|---|---|
| Kit number | 991/00152 |
| Rod diameter | 60 mm |
| Cylinder bore | 100 mm |
| Component groups | Oil seals, dust wipers and sealing rings |
| Purchase scope | Cylinder seal repair kit |

Front loader, rear backhoe and stabiliser orders
State the working position before naming a cylinder, pin, bush or hose. The front-loader lift and bucket-tilt functions have separate parts from the rear boom, dipper and bucket. Stabiliser cylinders and their hose connections form another position-specific repair.
For a pin-and-bush purchase, list pin diameter and length, bush inside/outside diameter and length, and the retaining arrangement. For a hose, list the working pressure, length between the selected end points, and both thread and sealing forms. These dimensions belong to the component being purchased.
| Working end | Typical purchase lines | Keep with each line |
|---|---|---|
| Front loader | Lift / tilt cylinder, linkage pins, bushes, hoses, bucket wear parts | Position, installed assembly number and end-mount views |
| Rear backhoe | Boom / dipper / bucket cylinder, mounting pins, teeth and hoses | Cylinder position, part number, pin geometry and port arrangement |
| Stabilisers | Cylinder seals, cylinder / rod and connected hose assemblies | Left / right position, rod / bore, stroke and end mounting |
What a mixed 3CX quotation contains
Separate single replacement filters, a complete service kit, cylinder seals and mechanical repair parts into labelled lines. Give each its quantity, supplied product identity and included pieces. Installation seals, hose adapters, pins and retainers are included as identified components when the repair calls for them.
For repeat purchases, retain the machine PIN, engine and the final purchased part list. The next service order can start from that list, while a new repair adds its own position and component number. Orders covering several 3CX machines use separate rows when engines or component configurations differ.
Send the service or repair list
Provide the full machine PIN and engine plate, then list the filter or component numbers and quantities. For a cylinder repair, add the cylinder position, old number, rod/bore dimensions and end-mount photographs. For pins or hoses, add the component measurements and connection views. Include the delivery country and port or address.
FIELDWORK can combine the maintenance kit and identified repair parts in one sourcing request. The quotation lists the selected products, supplied quantities, packaging and delivery arrangement so a workshop, fleet or dealer can compare the complete purchase.
